The perfect notary website resource list

Do you want to learn about all the resources I use to grow my online notary business? Hi, I’m Winston. I’m a notary entrepreneur and have made money in a few notary niches, including doing mobile notarizations, loan closings and apostille processing. But, the most recent niche that I have fully committed to is remote online notarizations for a number of reasons.

As a husband and father, I fully support my family and the demanding schedules that come with that. Remote online notarization is the one niche where I felt I could control the quality of the service and the customer experience at scale. However, to do that successfully I need a set of tools and wanted to take the opportunity to share those resources.

First up, I use Notarize.com (Now Proof.com) to execute my notarizations.notarize.com picture

The customer experience using the platform is really good and solves a lot of technical issues that may come up due to the average notary customer is older and less tech savvy. This how I execute online notarizations.

Next, I use A2Hosting.com to launch my WordPress website.

As you may know, you need a hosting company to launch a website if you want to own the domain, the data, the traffic, and have full control of your content management. Web builder platforms provide easy ways to create websites and do what they can to simplify the process but, they control your website experience. If you do not mind this, wix.com and Squarespace.com are good alternatives. I believe ownership means control. I personally prefer to control content management because it gives me certain advantages when it comes time to execute search engine optimization with my content.

After launching a WordPress website, you typically need some form of website builder. WordPress has gotten better by offering free website themes and website builder plugins to help users build a respectable website for free. However, I use Thrive Themes because I want to build my website fast, and have certain digital marketing functions that help me convert visitors into subscribers and customers.

When you go with free plugins and free website builders you run into functionality limits that they will gladly unlock once you pay for their software. Instead of paying for 10 different premium software and hoping they all work together, I use one company. Thrive themes!

The next step after launching a website is creating content. Blogging is a great way to show future visitors your knowledge and boost your credibility. The way that I take care of blogging is with SEO writing tools like Writesonic!

Writesonic is an AI writer. I use it for blogging and copywriting assistance. I have become an editor of search engine keyword topics written by writesonic. It has saved me so much time and helped me overcome writers block. I can confidently get 10 Articles done in a few hours with this tool.

Being a notary, I have to book appointments. After creating my website, I want to have the ability to take appointments and get paid for my appointments. I use Setmore.com to get this done.

Setmore.com is really fast and easy to use with a WordPress website. There are other competitors but when you are setting up a system to make money, sometimes it’s best to keep things simple. You can sync your Google calendar to control your schedule from your phone and you can sync the payment processor of your choice.

The last tool that I use for my notary business is a business phone number.
